UVs Homestay

The breakfast was scrumptious and plenty in amount. Different items were provided each day. Host was always willing to adjust the breakfast timings according to the needs of each guest. I request the future guests to try out the homemade pickles made by Seema ma'am, and the fruits (fresh and dried) from her orchard. The room was big and airy, and had a lovely balcony looking out into the driveway. Seema ma'am was a graceful host who looked after me and my mother like a member of our family. She helped us arrange our itinerary and find transport. Hoping to come back again in future. Will recommend to anyone coming to Haridwar.

Wonderful homestay run by lovely couple. I enjoyed everything, from the cozy homey atmosphere, to the delicious meals, .and of course the hosts' genuine friendliness and helpfulness

May be a TV in the room

The location is on the main road to the station, thus availing auto/cab/bus is quite easy. The rooms are quite big and everything is placed where it should be.

1. The property lacks any sign board thus hard to locate. 2. Stairs are quite steep and certain care must be taken while using by children. 3. Dining area is on the ground floor and the rooms are on the first floor, and the dining area lacks a wash basin, u have to actually climb up to the rooms to wash your hands after food. 4. Property really lacks any views of the outer world.

Deeraj, Seema, and UV are great hosts - friendly, genuinely interested in serving their guests, and many more good qualities that space considerations keep me from listing in full! There are 4 rooms and a separate kitchen just for guests. Plenty of sitting areas. High ceilings. The food is cooked with love and skill. The house is near a main road, but set back and buffered by surrounding buildings, so it is actually quite quiet. There are fruit vendors nearby. The Ganga is a 10 - 15 minute walk away, as is a shrine dedicated to Lahiri Mahasaya. Anandamayi's ashram is only 3 km away. That's a pretty good location! I recommend this homestay unreservedly.
