World Solo Travel's Welcomed At St Pete Home

The room decor was super cool, cozy and artistic. Parking on the street was easy. Also easy access to kitchen if you needed water or to store extra food in fridge. Host is very helpful and responsive to questions. Very good shower. Air conditioner in room works very well and is quiet machine.

The twin bed was was rather soft (but some people might prefer that) and short for me (I am 6feet 1 inch tall); neighbors across street were loud at night but it was holiday weekend and with earplugs I wasn’t bothered by noise and by the middle of the night it was quiet. Only thing that really surprised me is I thought there was a bona fide small swimming pool in the back but maybe I just didn’t look at the pictures carefully— it’s more like a soaking tub.

The property was well lit and easy to find

The property is across the street from people that like to hang out in their front yard with loud music. They did turn it off before it was time for bed. Rental said specifically says it’s for solo travelers. I prefer to have a door knob, not a sliding door that just latches that could be unlatched with a ruler slid between the door and the wall. Not what I would recommend for a woman.

The bidet

Does not look like the photos!!! Host has personal belongings all over the house. I felt like I was intruding on someone’s home

The room had an interesting theme and the outside area was nice for relaxing

The bathroom was dirty especially the toilet. It smelt really bad. Could do with some new towels for guests. The bed needs a new mattress as it is really uncomfortable.

L'hôte, Mitchell, etait très sympathique, disponible, avenant et présent à tout besoin. La terrasse de la maison etait très chaleureuse, joliment décorée et illuminée en soirée, pour y passer un bon temps en plein air. J'ai également apprécié le quartier, l'ambiance 'easy-going but safe' du voisinage.

Nothing

Extremely dirty home it was obvious that the bathroom had not been cleaned for a good year with thick dust/grime. I left to come back just to sleep internet could not host the TV it wouldn't stay on. The neighbor across the street was quite. popular he had quite a few friends over with loud music. I noticed his friends drove up rolled the window down shake hands and then drove off. This went on all night long, I have my suspicious to what was going on. The bed sheets obviously had not been washed and cleaned for me because I could smell a scent of a man on my pillows Etc I had to cover it with my sweatshirt.
