Beautiful food and peaceful location

Rooms need some attention and until the road is completed you need to be prepared for walk from road to place along single track.

Several things. I didnʻt understand from the description that the only way to access was by a single dirt path. My room had large, loud flies at night. The buzzing made it impossible to do anything. I tried to find help but no one was around. The flies were around all the lights upstairs in the kitchen, in the common areas. I had to find a way to kill many of them and they kept coming through the roof. Water was not replenished in my room. The bathroom trash was not emptied. I was offered dinner but not told how much it cost. I thought it and the room were overpriced.

Absolutely amazing place with a unique charm. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The views are breathtaking and watching the sunrise starts your day perfectly. We went to visit the Jatiluwih rice fields, hiked Mt. Batukaru, explored nearby temples and always went back to relax in this beautiful villa, to have their excellent tea and tasty food. The staff is great and carrying. Thank you for a fantastic time!

Everything perfect!

A lovely homestay with incredible views of the mountains/volcanos. Owner was very nice, and the house is very nice, if a bit tired. The pool side room has no ac and one is better equipped than the other, but they are comfortable. Great place if you want to get away for total peace and quiet with a view, otherwise not much to do there.

It's a rustic homestay that hasn't been renovated in 30 years so go with an open mind. It's quite off the beaten track but you do go through some nice rice paddies along the way.

The reality is completely different than pictures. The villa is extremly old, the room is nice though. It is a bit of a walk to arrive which is fine but it would be good to receive instructions beforehand.
