Sihariddh Guesthouse

The house is lovely in quiet neighbourhood and the owners are lovely and welcoming. The room is quite large with a large bathroom also. Close to a less touristy local market also.

The air conditioning was a bit wiggy

A gorgeous little guesthouse run by a really friendly and kind family. I absolutely loved our stay here, the house, patio and the village it is situated in are all lovely, with so much colour and character. It's a tiny walk from some lovely restaurants and very convenient for Angkor. The family were so kind and the abundance of local cats and birds was a wonderful bonus. I would recommend as a great base for exploring the beautiful area of Siem Reap.

It was quiet and like having a turn-key Cambodian family. Fun, friendly kitties to interact with.

No hot water. I understand the security but the gate was locked in the morning. I think calling is the solution but a smart lock with changable codes would rock everybody's (except thieves) socks.

I do not recommend this guesthouse in a private home. It's a disaster! I was disappointed with everything! The owner tried to scam me and convince me I hadn't paid for the room. I asked for the security camera footage and it turned out I had paid $16 for two nights. I was only there for one night and a few hours because I had to fly to Siem Reap airport at 6:00 PM. The owner wanted to make more money and canceled my one-night reservation on Booking.com. My wife is Khmer, and my daughter was born in Cambodia. I've lived in Cambodia for many years, and it's very sad. I know that when Khmers see a European tourist, they look for a way to cheat, rob, and exploit them. To Khmers, Europeans are walking ATMs, nothing more. They are polite and kind when they see a European, but only because they see it as a benefit and a good deal. The room was in terrible condition; There was no water in the sink faucet, no trash can in the room or bathroom, and the shower hose was leaking. There was no privacy, as it was a private home belonging to a Khmer family. When you opened the door, the owner's son and his friends were playing video games. It was a complete disaster! Avoid this place! I don't recommend it! The neighborhood isn't very attractive either; you have to be careful at night, too far from the city center and the N6.

Cozy accommodations and kind, helpful hosts. They will make you feel at home and show you what true Cambodian hospitality is like. Fantastic location in a bustling neighborhood will immerse you in the local culture like nowhere else.

Really nice family, nice quiet location and lovely room with comfy bed and loads of room ! We stayed just before Khmer new year and were invited to join the celebrations which involved plenty of beer, karaoke and dancing which was really good fun and made us feel very very welcome

Not much in walking distance but you know that going in and grab/passap is super cheap for a tuk tuk into town
