The host was delightful and helpful. Was a bit hot in the room and she brought an extra fan right away and it was great .

Really lovely staff, in a perfect location, not to far from the beaches. Very calm and nice and quiet.

The host Isuri is the most lively lady you'll meet in Hiri! Taking care of all your needs and always busy to clean the house. Advantageous was the fridge and little kitchen area.

Would be even nicer if there was a little cooking stove, for the rest all good

Very clean and spacious room! Friendly and helpful owner. Great location smack in the middle of Blue Beach and Hiriketyia. Both under 10’ walk away. Lovely stuff!

Nice living room

Tiny bedroom........And not my kind of bed.....

You’re being very well welcomed and the location is among the more local house, a bit further from the massive tourism. The cafe down the street is excellent and cheap, my host was so nice to organise delivery. You have a kitchen. The living room with the couches is very nice to chill, clean and with good aeration. The room has a good size.

Despite what is written on booking, my room had unfortunately no view. The water pressure was too low to wash my hair. My room had a weird and unpleasant smell. I got bitten during the night by something that doesn’t look like mosquitos. My host asked for 800 SLK to organise a 5’mm tuktuk for me, went down to 500 SLK but the price I got directly on the street was 300 SLK. It’s unfortunate that you can trust their integrity.

We had such a lovely stay at Kawshan’s Homestay. The bed was very comfortable, the location is lovely because it’s a little away from the quite touristy part of Hiriketiya but still so easy to access both blue island beach and Hiriketiya beach and restaurants. Isuri is wonderful, so helpful - and also funny and friendly, and very accommodating. She helped with booking us transport to our next location, and gave us good advice and tips. Highly recommend a stay here!
