La maison se trouve dans la foret. On a été accueilli par une dame adorable qui nous a tout de suite offer une boisson delicieuse. Les chambres etaient parfaites, elles sentaient très bon, lit très comfortable. Maison familiale ou on se tout de suite senti " à la maison"

Our hostess was so thoughtful and kind. She was a lovely gentle, caring person who spoke good English. We were able to walk from the house up Pidurangala Rock before breakfast. We could see both rocks from the outdoor dining area. Delicious food too.

Deze man is amazing. Samen met zijn moeder runt Saman deze geweldige plek vlakbij de ingang van Pidurangala rock. De locatie is fantastisch. En deze man gaat verder dan wat dan ook om je te helpen. Hij loopt met je mee tot de ingang van de hike om ervoor te zorgen dat er niks gebeurt als je olifanten tegenkomt. Je hoeft hem maar te appen en hij regelt alles voor je. Hij heeft zelfs treintickets voor ons gefixt terwijl het uitverkocht was. Verderop de route heeft hij zelfs nog een driver voor ons geregeld omdat wij onze route hadden omgegooid en ik even niet wist wie betrouwbaar was. Saman verdient een standbeeld en zijn moeder is zó lief! We dachten eerst dat de locatie te ver van het centrum zou zijn, maar je loopt er zo heen en de naam centrum mag het nieteens hebben. Dus wil je beide rocks beklimmen, dit is absoluut de plek waar je moet zijn!

De kamer is sober, maar als je luxe zoekt moet je sowieso niet in Sigiriya zijn. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt.

Fantastic location with very thoughtful hosts. A relaxing, family-run guesthouse in prime spot between Pidurangala and Sigiriya. Comfortable room with fantastic breakfast and optional dinner. Nice range of beers on offer. Hosts went above and beyond to ensure comfortable and pleasant stay with them. Would definitely recommend 100%!

During our 2-night stay, we were welcomed very well. The host lady was very helpful and gave us good suggestions. We wanted to have a massage, she suggested a nice place. She took care of us with motherly instinct and kindness. Our room smelled clean. When we woke up in the morning, it was obvious that the floors had just been wiped. The garden is very pleasant, we sat in the evening and watched the stars. We loved it very much. Be sure to stay if you are on your way.

Amazing host and great small hotel. Highly recommend. Wasanthi our host was incredible. Beautiful lady and fantastic cook. Great dinner no need to go anywhere else. Lovely breakfast. She was always there to greet us on returning. She gave us top tips. Place was clean but simple. Best location to be able to hike to both rocks easily. Hotel was at the base of Pidurangala and a 15 min walk to Lion rock.

Nothing. Everything was great. We should have stayed longer and did other trips from there.

The host, she was so warm and kind, like having a mom on your vacation the food was amazing, the room was spacious and clean, and it was very close to Pidurangala and Lions rock.
