Thal Sewana

We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The property felt very safe, comfortable, and peaceful, with quiet rooms that made it easy to truly relax. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast and delicious dinners at night - which was a real highlight. The hosts were incredibly friendly and caring, and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our trip. They provided great recommendations for places to visit, which made everything so much easier. Overall, they made our vacation effortless and genuinely enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

Thal Sewana was a perfect home stay. It’s located walking distance to both Lions Rock and Pidurangala, making it super easy to get up for an early morning hike and is in such a peaceful area! Our host was so warm and welcoming, made us feel right at home. She woke up early to help us find our way to the trailhead and had a delicious breakfast prepared when we were back. Would definitely recommend!

"Ik schrijf meestal korte beoordelingen, maar dit verblijf bij Thal Sewana was zo bijzonder dat ik er meer over wil vertellen. Ik heb nog nooit zulke lieve en behulpzame mensen ontmoet. De locatie is perfect, vlakbij Pidurangala Rock. Wat me ook meteen opviel, is dat alles ontzettend schoon en netjes is. De gastvrouw deed er alles aan om mijn verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Omdat ik vroeg in de ochtend de Lion's Rock wilde beklimmen, stond ze om 5 uur 's ochtends op om een tuktuk voor me te regelen. De dag ervoor had ze ook al een heen- en terugreis naar Dambulla voor me georganiseerd. Toen ik na de Lion's Rock direct doorliep naar Pidurangala, stuurde ze zelfs haar kleinzoon mee om me te vergezellen. Bij terugkomst stond er een heerlijk, vers bereid ontbijt en koffie op me te wachten. En dat allemaal voor slechts 30 dollar! Ik ben absoluut betoverd door deze plek, de hygiëne en de oprechte zorg van de familie. Ik raad Thal Sewana aan iedereen van harte aan!"

部屋にも虫が多かった 周りに何もない バス停からトゥクトゥク乗る必要がある 大抵の人は大通り沿いのホテルを選んだ方が良いかも。 金額の割にコスパイマイチでした。

The guest house was very close to Lion Rock. In the morning, I went out alone to watch the sunrise, and the lady from the guest house came with me because there was a leopard roaming around 🤣 — she was so friendly! The breakfast was excellent.
