Yuda Menjangan Homestay

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we were leaving he waited a long time to be able to stop a beamo to take us to our next destination. The garden setting is lovely, especially the little waterfall. The brealfast was quite good and their was a kitchen where you could cook meals and make hot drinks. Nearbye there were quite a few inexpensive warungs. We enjoyed the snorkling trip and were given a discount from the advertised price.

You need to hire a scooter if you want to access the beach as it is not within a comfortable walking distance.

Fantastic homestay! We could not fault Yuda and his family, they were great hosts. Everything in our room was of a high standard. We were impressed by the attention to detail. The garden is well kept and breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast was great and in the evening we enjoyed Wayan's cooking (Yuda's wife) we paid extra for dinner and it was great value for money. Wayan makes the best Nasi Goreng. Their son Kadek took us on day trips, we enjoyed his company and he took us to visit great places. We love snorkeling and Yuda even arranged that for us. Their services were beyond expectation. They took the time to create a great Itinerary for us. They provide transport and laundry services. We look forward to visiting them again. Next time we want to spend at least 10 days with them.

I cannot fault anything. It is a pity that we did not book a longer period with them

At that price it is great option, i highly recommend it. I was sceptical at first as other locations in bali provide for such price not very good accomodation, this one is great. No odour, very clean, very well maintained, comfortable and even breakfast is included. The owner is very helpful.

Yuda, the host, is a gem!! He's so welcoming and looked after us so well. Arranged all our activities for us. The location was perfect for snorkeling, which was also amazing, and convenient for a brief jump over to Java to climb Mt. Ijen. The facilities themselves were comfortable and fun (outdoor bathroom was a neat experience for us!).

Entrance from laneway is a little inconspicuous, especially after dark, but once you know where you're going, it's fine.
