Yuda Menjangan Homestay

Super friendly staff and amazing breakfast!

Yuda & his staff are nice, easy access to the homestay. Clean, green place.

Loud neighbors. They always play music with loud speaker. The earplug given at homestay not really help. They stop at night, but better go somewhere during the day. An open roof toilet make everything wet in toilet when it's raining, and expect getting a little wet to your body also.

Yuda's homestay is located in a quiet village close to West Bali National Park and a great snorkeling spot at Menjangan island. The place is very well kept and he is a wonderful host. He will happily assist with any activities and possibilities that the West Bali area offers. There's a couple of very tasty warungs/eateries around and the breakfast served is simple but delicious; including even bananas from their own garden. The surroundings were generally quite calm and quiet, and Yuda even provides earplugs for light sleepers, as there can be occasional uncontrollable nature sounds and the locals like to listen to the music and sing karaoke quite loud. That never really was a problem for us, though. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again if we ever happen to revisit the region!

Its a nice piece of Paradise hidden in Menjangan village. Yuda made the best to make our stay very enjoyable and organised our local tours, from diving to sightseeing elsewhere in Bali and Ijen vollcano. Great breakfast too!

Yuda was super friendly organising all transfers and even driving himself. Asking every day what we would like for breakfast (pancakes or omelet and fruits) and was always happy to answer any questions we had. Super market and a really good restaurant close by.

Yuda Menjangan homestay is an excellent cost/benefit for a long stay in Bali (like we did) or a good option for one or two nights on the way to Central Bali. The rooms have a good size and are beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos show. There are air conditioned in the room and hot water in the shower. There are energy sockets near the bed. Wi-fi is excellent. The rooms are cleaned everyday. You may choose your breakfast, Bali style or "occidental" style. Everything is well cared.The garden and the fountain turns the homestay a peaceful oasis. There are good restaurants at walking distance but if you are lazy or tired, you may order some food at the homestay. Wayan, Yuda's wife, can also provide laundry service for a very good cost. Yuda offers transfer to/from the airport and tours to all the interesting places in Bali (temples, Ubud, rice terraces, Ijen, etc). There is also a massage service available. The location is good for diving in Menjangan, for a fast access to Jawa (the ferry is nearby) and for birdwatchers. It is near the West Bali National park and there are some Bali Myna's and other interesting birds around.

There are many small things that could be improved but nothing important. If you tell Yuda or Wayan what is bothering you, they will do their best to correct the problem. One thing that would be good is a mosquito net on the bed. Another suggestion would be a screen in the shower to avoid getting the whole bathroom wet when you shower. Yuda's is not the best place if you want to party the night away or go shopping all day or if you like big resorts. It is a small, quiet place.

Yuda's homestay was absolutely fantastic! A beautifully arranged place, spotless clean, delicious breakfast and wonderful host - what more could you want! Yuda even gave us fresh aloe vera for our sunburn. We can't recommend this homestay highly enough!!

It is a lovely and excellent place to stay. Price and quality are worth. Many warungs and mini markets around. Yuda helps you in everything you need. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Menjangan Island and do the volcano Kawah Ijen in Java. Yuda organizes tours for you. The room is very confy and clean, with a delicious outside shower. There is a small kitchen where you can have free coffee and tea any time you want. The breakfast is wonderful, with many fruits. I highly recommend Yuda's place!

Yuda and his family are very welcoming and super helpful, they go out of their way to help you with anything. He set up with a snorkeling tour and even provided aloe vera for my sunburn after. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is tasty.

The room is a little bare - a fridge would have been fantastic, for example. But it's a minor concern. Great place, especially for the price.
