Excellent stay, lovely staff so helpful and friendly. Lovely clean rooms and great food

The location was excellent—very close to the harbour. There’s a motorbike rental available, the option to book tours, and a bar located downstairs.

The place wasn’t very clean or fresh, and some things needed fixing (though a renovation is underway, so this will probably improve soon). Unfortunately, during our stay, there was noise from drilling. The hosts were friendly but repeatedly offered food from the restaurant several times a day, which made us a bit uncomfortable, as we preferred to eat out. Please note that paying by card incurs an additional 5% charge. Surprisingly, I left some clothes for the laundry service, but when I collected them the next day, I discovered they hadn’t been washed—although I was still charged.

Amazing friendly staff, truly the homestay experience.

We had a lovely stay on Cham Island. The hosts were very kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food at their restaurant was fresh and absolutely delicious, we ended up having dinner there every evening. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice place to stay just in the heart of the island. Short walk to all the restaurant. You can reach very nice beaches riding a scooter .

The location of the property was fantastic. Right on the sea front, we had the front room with balcony and it was just wonderful to sit and watch village life. Also a 10 minute walk to a lovely beach. Walking round the island was what we preferred but you could rent a bicycle or motorbike. The host and staff were brilliant. So helpful and accommodating. Offered to help book speedboat tickets which I would do next time. Day trips could be organised also. I did the bucket boat trip and had fun learning how to paddle it. The food and drinks were lovely and a very good price. I loved this island and the homestay and would definitely come back again. So much life on the island, monkeys, a lovely dog next door that came walking with us. Just a beautiful place with beautiful people.

I already stayed at Sunbay last year and it was good , so I can not leave a bad review . Though this year they cancelled my booking after accepting it . Fortunately we could find an other homestay which was good also .

The way they cancelled my booking after accepting . They cancelled only by messsge but I did not see an official cancellation on Booking app . So I hope I will not be charged for the stay we did not have .
