Host was wonderful. Couldn't do enough for the clents

Location is very good.

At first impression we were not happy at all. House and furniture old and dated. Entrance not appealing. Our budget room was tiny; with a double bed in ,there was not much room. We shared the bathroom and toilet for the first night only.There were no other guests for the rest of our stay.

The host was extremely friendly and interesting to talk to. Loved the character of the place. No frills just plain honest hosting. Excellent breakfast.

Sheets and towels are not changed daily. No milk for tea only coffee mate.

Susan was a wonderful welcoming host who gave us a really personal experience. We loved hearing about the history of the house, had an incredibly comfy bed and Susan made a lovely breakfast which left us feeling very wholesome and looked after :) coming down to a lit fire in the breakfast room was such a bonus too!

Shared bathroom is no issue, but a little sign on the doors will help guests navigate.

Susan the host was lovely. Loved chatting with her and getting to know her. Her tips for local walks and places to visit were superb too - made our stay extra special.

Fabulous breakfast, a characterful house and a really friendly host.
