Endroit idéal pour passer quelques jours à 2h de Padang , en bord de mer , dans un lieu paradisiaque et authentique . L'équipe est au top ! Les repas livrés sont variés et très bons ! Quel grand moment de voir et nager avec les tortues 🤗. Je recommande vivement !

Attention au grignotage des écureuils ; ne rien laisser qui pourrait les attirer dans vos sacs !

Cependant,quel dommage,bungalows non sécurisés,vetustes,prêts à s'ecrouler,aucun entretien du lieu,ne devrait pas paraître dans booking au niveau des infrastructures .pas de réglementation en Indonésie,pour faire fermer un lieu non secure. Le propriétaire ne fait rien depuis des années.Il ne vient jamais sur place.2 bungalows écroulés lors d'une tempête,toujours sur place,cela n'attirent pas confiance.

Aris is an amazing host. He made and his friends made the trip magnificent. You are on an isolated island so it’s nice to have great local people to mingle with. The boatman is also nice and he cooks good. Overall you feel like Robinson Crusoe. Truly paradise! Big bonus is swimming with turtles. Although the coral is dead (because of overfishing), you can still see nice fish when you snorkel.

So it is mentioned before in other reviews, so we knew that the state of the cabins wasn’t great. But you have to be aware of this. This is not a place for children, elderly or people that like comfort. But even for us (experienced travelers) it was a bit intense. The state of the houses is beyond bad. It really needs fixing. It feels like the owner is not willing to invest in these houses, which is a pity cause the area is amazing and has so much potential. What scared us the most was the fact that a French tourist died last year. She was sleeping in her cabin during a storm and a tree fell on her. The remains of the cabin are still there and it doesn’t look like they took any safety measurements after this accident

We had a great time there. All very natural and artful crafted. The staff was very kind and helpful. Good to know is that cash is essentially, you can order some food from the boat man, but taking your own food for a longer stay is also an option. The Internet connection is very poor to non existent. There are some jellyfish from Time to time, so be careful, they sting a lot 🔥

Amazing and authentic stay in nature, beautiful beach and very peaceful. Basic huts but the best ocean views and you can even spot turtles from your balcony. The staff is amazing and very helpful with everything you need to make your stay unforgettable. it felt like staying on a remote island. Plenty of other islands to explore by boat or kayak or just snorkeling off the beach. No reception or wifi which was great. Delicious fresh home cooked lunch and dinner is delivered by the boatman every day.

This place is incredible. First of all, the location is perfect: beaches, coral reef, islands, jungle, mountains and waterfalls. The lodges and bathroom facilities are very very simple, but it has all you need, and the view from the lodges is beautiful. We really enjoyed this simple beach life. The whole property is decorated with good taste, many different flowers and trees that attract butterflies and ponds with frogs. The food was also always a great experience. In the mornings we got pancakes and for lunch and dinner we got very good local foods, easily adjusted to our wishes. As a vegetarian you will eat very well here. Our hosts Jacob and Dzakwan were wonderful people. Very welcoming, always smiling and trying to give us the best experience. They guided us on hikes, taught us some Indonesian, always asked us if we want tea or coffee and joined us at card games. All in all we had an amazing time at Sumatra ecolodge.

The huts are very basic and haphazard. We didn’t feel particularly safe.

The location is amazing. The boatman took us there in the evening, we were the only ones there on our first night. Beach is beautiful, pretty sunset sky. You can snorkel off the beach (bring beach shoes!!) saw lots of fish and turtles. The 2 lads working at the lodge are so lovely! Really helpful, cooked breakfast in the mornings, tea when we wanted, genuinely interested in learning more English. Nice listening to them play guitar and sing. Took us on a little hike up the hill on the next island. They really made the stay great. Always keeping the place tidy. The boatman brought our meals over, was really good food, mostly fish and rice dinners. Nice to chill in a hammock and read a book. There is a kayak and paddle board to hire. Love the idea of the lodges, all using recycled and reclaimed materials. Good space, very quirky. Lots of art and driftwood dotted about. Really recommend this place for a back to basic, rustic, in nature break, but could do with a few repairs and some maintenance. There is no WiFi and no 4g (although there is 4g at the boatman’s village) Read all reviews before you decide.

The bedding didn’t smell overly clean. The roof leaked when it rained hard, unfortunately on to the bed. The mosquito net has seen better days. Had ants in our bed every night. The shower wasn’t great, had a split in the hose which we used to shower instead of the actual shower head. Has been taped up before.

Amazing experience in a beautiful and quiet beach. Tasty food brought every day by boat. Easy communication and coordination for transport from Padang.

Few leaks in the bungalow when it rains. The kayak we rented was not in good shape. But overall a great experience nevertheless :)
