"Great Value Getaway"

9.0

The owner was very interesting to talk to. Breakfast cooked fresh, with tea/coffee offered regularly which was very nice. There is a communal fresh water shower which is very pleasant. The sea is very warm and safe for paddling near the shore. The communal seating area is a nice place to meet others and hang out.

Near impossible access to the toilet area adjacent to my bungalow for anyone with restricted mobility. The steps were slippy and very steep. A handrail is essential here. The food arrangements clearly need thinking about. They come by boat earlier in the day and are served cold later. Not great, athough there is a kitchen at the lodge with a gas supply, so that could be solved easily.

"Very good"

Fabulous location, extremely beautiful and quiet, perfect to release stress and if you love nature.

Nothing, everything was very nice. However, be reminded to bring beach shoes as there are a lot of corals.

"Beautiful location, facilities need a bit of updating"

7.0

- The area is beautiful. The surrounding islands, ocean and jungle are fit for a nature getaway - Owner is very warm and helpful.

- It was very difficult to communicate with the lodge to arrange transport. Admittedly we booked the night before but we tried to contact the lodge that night and all throughout the day the next day. We tried social media, calling, WhatsApp etc. - The bathrooms are a bit run down and not very pleasant. HOWEVER, for what you pay for I can definitely understand. I think just a bit of updating to the facilities and room would be great as it can be a bit dark and dingy. - A bit hard to get to from Padang airport

"Exceptional"

10.0

I had the most amazing stay. The location is a natural paradise, you hear all the sounds the jungle has to offer and the snorkelling is fantastic!! The accommodation itself is very basic and there is no wifi or signal really so be warned! I honestly think though that this adds to the experience as you can really connect with yourself away from all the stresses of normal life. Dana and Raqay were super lovely and along with the other guests it felt like we were a little family. I highly recommend this place!!

"Make sure you will like this easy going very simple place before you go"

7.0

To get there was well organised. For the stay: You get what you pay. The huts are super simpel and a bit run down. Breakfast is a pancake and some fruits. Tea and coffee free all day long. Lunch and dinner is made by the boatsman wife and sailed every day. Then eaten "cold". Food is good. For any extra food stuff please bring along or ask the boatman. Snorkel and masks are available and a SUP and cayak for rent.

Beach is clean. But not meant to swim in the sea as the reef starts in front of the beach and at low tide the water disappears. Snorkeling is then fine. But no more corals, all destroyed. Still a lot of tropical fish are present. Nice. BRING YOUR TOILET PAPER, in case you are used to use it. And a towel.
