Water Gate Tourist Home and Resorts

Canal side location. Home cooked chicken curry which was excellent. We were offered massages which we declined. We were offered a boat trip which we took, this was great. Laundry facilities.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

I booked a room for 615 inr and my friend for 800 inr. When we arrived the owner ( older man) informed me my room is not available because somebody extended his stay. He said I can have a room for 1000 inr. We tried during 1 hour, my friend was speaking local language mayalayam but finally we left. I think it's not fair. We found another place to stay but it can spoil your trip. Its not professional at all even the location is ok but we didn't see the rooms. I would avoid.

Cleanliness

The property is ok but the host is sexual predator.

The host is a sexual predator. He forced me to hug him, touched my breasts and back, he forced himself into my room. Beware especially if you are solo female traveller. He should be banned from booking com

Worst experience in the stay , road connectivity is very poor, facilities offered in the booking not provided by the property. Rooms alloted roof opp , which was constructed over terrace with tin sheet and plywood. Windows have no any curtains , which is too affected sleep in night The approach road is very poor condition , you can't travel in your car. Breakfast was included in booking , but just drinking water not provided by the property.
