Mr Bao Homestay & Bungalows

The place is very clean, peaceful and beautiful! It was so nice to relax in the middle of the nature with the sound of the birds and frogs. Mr.Bao and his wife helped us a lot and took good care of everything we needed! I really advice you to do the tour of the islands that Mr.Bao will offer you. The breakfast was really good and gave us a lot of energy to start the day. Kop khun krap!😊🙏

Mr Bao and his daughter were so helpful! Such nice people, couldn’t have done enough for us. Quick replies if we ever needed any advice. Can hire a bike of them as well which is so useful. Loved our stay.

There wasn’t a hairdryer and the shower is cold no temperature however isn’t an issue because it’s hot

It’s a quaint and nice bungalow and in front of trees. It’s quiet and at the same time very close to downtown with its few stores. The rice that Ms Bao cooked for lunch was very good.

The bungalows are close to the mosque. So, you ll be awake at 5:35 in the morning when the siren calls you to prayer. At 8 pm is the last call. The sea is far. So you ll have to rent a bike or a motorcycle the same price as at the specialist shop downtown. All the beaches are on the east coast. The breakfast is very little : one cup of coffee or tea, a small bottle of water and a bowl of rice/ rice with mangoes wrapped in a banana leaf. No top sheets. Only a blanket. No HOT water 😥

Bungalows were clean and comfortable and a short walk from a busy street with places to eat. Mr Bao and his wife were excellent hosts, organising bike/motorbike hire, tours and taxis to and from the pier. We loved the free breakfast especially the sticky rice.

Good location! Mr Bao and his family are really helpful. The breakfast was delicious and changed everyday. We also rented a scooter with him for a good price. I would definitely come back.

The bathrooms could need a makeover but in overall for the price it is really good!

We had an amazing stay at Mr. Bao Homestay! The bungalow was lovely, featuring a playful and beautiful interior with a cozy veranda. Behind the property, you’re surrounded by serene woods, which truly immerse you in nature. Despite being close to the street at the front, it’s incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. The location is ideal – main shopping and dining spots are just around the corner and easily accessible by foot, scooter, or car. Mr. Bao and his family are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always greeting us with smiles. Breakfasts were simple yet tasty, accompanied by tea and coffee. Mr. Bao went above and beyond to help us book trips and find the best places to visit, always securing the best prices. His network on the island is impressive, making everything convenient. Scooters can be rented directly on-site and are very well maintained, which made exploring the island a breeze. The beds were comfortable, and the spacious bathroom added to the overall comfort. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!
