The room was clean and everything in the room was in good condition.

I wasn't informed beforehand that there were cats in the house. It would be good to mention this for the sake of those with allergies.

It’s very central to a lot of attractions and places to visit

Not that I didn’t like the property,but if you suffered from allergies to cats you need to know there is one about the property.

Convenience of location to showground

Cats & smell of cat urine as soon as you entered property. Entrance door didn’t create good first impression. White goods in kitchen rusty which we assumed was due to cat spray /urine Cat wee in the entrance hall

The actual room was well decorated and looked clean. The carpet needed vacuuming. There was a fridge and microwave, as well as a kettle and TV. The room looked recently decorated.

I was aware the house had cats, but as you walk into the property the house STANK of cat piss. Breathtakingly bad. I have friends with several cats, none of their houses stink like this. The bedroom carpet hadn't been vacuumed (they ask you to take your shoes off and you can feel the bits in the carpet). The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days/weeks. The toilet bowl was stained, the sink cracked, it was dirty. The toilet brush was disgusting. See pictures. The plumbing was incredibly noisy. The bathroom is not fit for a property listed on Booking.com. The owners came back late on the Friday night (0130) and proceeded to be very noisy in and out of the bathroom for about an hour. If I'd had an easy choice of somwehere else to stay I would have gone to it. A shame because the bedroom itself has been thought about. The owners need to re-do the bathroom and rid the house of the smell before they re-list this property. I didn't meet them or I would have mentioned my concerns - all business was conducted via text.

Bed comfy, spacious room with a lot of amenities

Cats- a number of cats were in the property and was clearly evident. Don’t remember this being mentioned when booked. Kitchen had private sign on it, wasn’t sure if I was allowed to use.

Did not stay as stunk and was filthy dirty. Want a full refund . I did text owner Chris and confirm we were not staying at an unclean home .

Disappointed disgusting and filthy dirty and also cats running around open dirty food stale everywhere stunk of cigarettes? We have asthma. Bedding dirty smelt bad crumbs in bed blood on pillow cases. Old screwed n up quilts in cupboard in our bedroom. Half used toiletries in our room dry crusty towel one . Dirty cups draws and plated in our room . Tv looks like never been cleaned as well. I have taken pictures for evidence. I had to get my sister to transfer me another £100 to rent another room at the well inn at shepton mallet . Very disappointed and angry?

The bedroom was very presentable. I arrived late and Chris, who lives in this 2 bedroom semi-detached house had communicated very well with me and given me the code to the key safe so that I could enter while he was out for the evening. He kindly told me that I could park on his drive. A very reassuring start. Fresh miilk was kindly provided in the bedroom fridge. Tea and coffee supplied was much appreciated (with shower gel and shampoo)

There were lots of cigarette ends close to the front door, so I was a little concerned about the smell on entering, but I was met with a very strong smell of dettol instead. I presume that he had washed the hall floor. Alarmingly, I was met by 2 cats. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats and wouldn't have booked this property had I known!! I was nicely surprised by the bedroom, which was clean and tidy, and I felt reassured that I could lock the door from the inside. However, the bed didn't smell freshly cleaned, and a pillow smelt of man sweat!! Very disconcerting!! I would suggest that clean bed linen is essential! Fortunately, I had antihistamine tablets with me, so I eventually went to sleep, hoping that the itchy eyes and irritated throat from the cat allergy would subside. I eventually fell asleep and thankfully had a good night's sleep. The bathroom is shared, and Chris kindly left me undisturbed to get ready for the day. The morning's shower was good, but I was provided with a bath towel that had 2 holes in. The questionable bedding and old bath towel sadly doesn't cause me to want to return to this property.

I entered that house, there is a terrible smell of poo, there are fleas, the heat was turned on only in the morning, the coffee in the envelope expired terribly
