"Great stay in Chris's home. Fantastic value for money."

A very comfy bed and a nice added extra to have fresh milk in the fridge hidden in the wardrobe. Great to stay in a 'normal' home rather than a showroom. Good communication from Chris, even though we didn't meet him due to arriving at midnight. Easy access with key box so we didn't feel bad about disturbing Chris.

It was perfect for what we needed.... Just a bed for the night. Slight worry when my sat nav gave a different address for the postcode, but Chris replied to messages fast to confirm address. We found the home and were able to check it was correct by looking at the outside photo listed. The door is down the side of the house.

The fridge,microwave, and kettle in the room meant I could be self-contained . Bed very comfortable. Great communication.

"Comfy stay but the smell of cat urine was off putting."

nice quiet location. good communication from host. bed was comfy

there was a smell of cat urine in the hall way and bathroom. It was very off putting. The pillows smelt a bit fusty too.

"Poor"

The room was warm and the location was okay for my needs (I came and went walking). Owner informed me kinkly on breakfast places I could go to in the neighbourhood. Also appreciated the availability of a microwave oven to cook my supper.

The sheets in the bed were not clean, the fridge was dirty. Moreover, the bedroom is adacent to the shared bathroom and the flashing the loos is very noisy and resonated very loudly in the bedroom. These two things contributed to ruining my stay there.

"Exceptional"

The host was very friendly and even when he saw I was struggling to find the place he texted to say exactly where he was. He showed me where I was staying. It was like a home from home place. It helped me out as I was working close by ans saved me travelling 1.5hours each way just to get home and back to work. Will be using again
