Double room with private bathroom in Basingstoke

The location.

Only one towel was provided and there was a brown stain on it. The bed felt like there was a dip in it, I assume one of the wooden panels under is broken. There was hair on the bed. The draws have not been cleaned inside as there was hair and dust. The fan was very dirty, it had dust all over it. The overall cleanliness has dropped since the first time I’ve made a booking for this room. There were also people downstairs smoking in the first room, which it specifically says no smoking allowed.

The nearby restaurant is currently closed (August 24) for refurbishment appaently- we usually like to eat there The rooms are always super clean and we have found them quiet

We didn't understand or appreciate the layout of the furniture -two bedside tables on one side of the bed and only a wardrobe on the other. Could definitely be improvedWe also struggled with the front door lock again

Very neat and comfortable, however efforts need to be made to keep it neater.

All was well. I liked everything other than bed sheets, and the pillows had a smell.

Really nice room, extremely clean with access to a spotless kitchen. Hallway to the room spotless too. Bed comfortable, TV had all the free and paid for (i.e., Netflix) installed. Quite too. En-suite bathroom fully functional and clean, with decent towels. Lots of free parking in the area.

There was a heatwave, so the provision of a duvet in cover without a sheet option could have been an issue - but as the place supplied a decent stock of large towels, used that as a cover, so had a good sleep. I would recommend, but if you are staying in predicted heat wave, let the host know you need a sheet!!

Room with its private bathroom was good & there was a well equipped shared kitchen, which was a bonus. Accommodation was also close to a small parade of shops. Nice to have free car parking. Temperature was very hot the day I stayed, so the fan & blind were very welcome. Thank you.

Despite having a good stay overall I personally had a problem with my set of door keys...I reported it so hopefully the next guest will be fine.
