Bed & Bye Schiphol

The hospitality was great!!! The place was clean and the room was spacious. Also a great location if you want to stay close to the airport.

I stayed at Bed & Bye Schiphol during a layover in Amsterdam. The location is perfect for getting between the airport and the city center; there is a bus stop just steps from the house. The host, Frans, is very responsive. He answered all my questions before my arrival and took the time to offer me a coffee to recommend an itinerary to explore the city. The room is very quiet and comfortable, the bathroom is shared but it is very clean.

Badhoevedorp is not a very lively area but it is a convenient option for getting to the airport.

Wir haben uns bei Frans von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Er ist ein unglaublich herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns mit seiner offenen Art sofort das Gefühl gegeben hat, willkommen zu sein. Die Lage ist wirklich toll – perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, und trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe und war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch das Abstellen des Autos war problemlos möglich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir, wie aufmerksam und freundlich Frans war – man merkt einfach, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste am Herzen liegt. Wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt und wir werden auf jeden Fall noch ein zweites Mal kommen.

The host was s a complete joy.... which is what others said so I booked it. It is true. He greeted us at the door at 11pm after a total downpour. Then we talked at the table for a bit. He looked up which bus we needed to take to get there from.the airport. Location is close to public transportation. All necessities were supplied. Washing machine.. He drew us a map of what to see before we left in the morning. orn

Two flights of stairs... though Frans carried our luggage. Couldn't figure out the dryer... not the host's fault.

Sehr netter Empfang mit sehr guten Tipps für unseren Amsterdamaufenthalt. Optimale Lage für den frühen Rückflug, Zentrum war einfach zu erreichen. Zimmer war klein aber ok zum Schlafen.

The host was amazing, kind, polite and incredibly respectful. The home was beautiful and clean, he is so kind and he will help you in everything else. I think the bests things on my trip, was to stay in his home Thank You very much Frans Sincerely, your Spanish friends, Guillermo and Sergio
