Bed could have been comfier.

Amazing location, close enough but away from the noise. Exactly what you need for a short trip!

There was only 1 roll of toilet paper but we purchased some so it wasn’t a problem!

Great location in the old town!

L’hôtel est très bien placé, au plein cœur du centre. Possibilité de visiter la ville à pied. La chambre était propre. Il y avait des serviettes de douche ; gel douche ; sèche cheveux. L’hôtelier est très réactif par message sur Whatsapp ce qui est très pratique en cas de besoin. Cet hôtel est parfait pour un séjour réussi ! Excellent rapport qualité / prix. Nous n’avons pas été dérangé par le bruit des voisins ou de la rue.

Une légère odeur de canalisation dans la salle de bain, mais vraiment rien de gênant.

Location good but bordering noisy streets at the weekend.

This is a lock box room, which is the last thing I would have booked had I known. There were issues with the front door password I was given which involved making a phone call to get sorted. There was no information given re tips or suggestions about where to eat or drink or special things to enjoy in the locality. When I sent a text looking for tips, I was given a link that hadn't been checked and didn't work. It was into the next day before I got anything, and only after enquiring again. The walls in the room were paper thin. I could hear conversations, loud TV and music from the room next door. The word "homestay" in the description on Booking.com implied to me that this was some kind of family-run establishment, which would be run by local people. It was anything but...anonymous people (or maybe even bots) who sounded like they lived miles away, maybe even on a different continent. No nice greeting or conversation with local people to make me feel welcome in San Sebastian...just cold, informal, distant phone conversations and texts with someone you felt you were bothering rather than someone who appreciated that you chose to spend your hard-earned money to stay with them.

Lo mejor, sin duda, es la ubicación; estar en plena zona pero sin el jaleo de las aglomeraciones. El tamaño de la habitación esta muy bien para 2-3 días. El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, y el detalle de dejar cápsulas para la cafetera, se valora mucho. Limpieza correcta.

Realmente es una habitación con baño privado dentro de una casa, por lo que escuchar ruidos de la habitación de al lado se hace un poco incómodo y te quita algo de privacidad. La limpieza en general es correcta, pero sí nos encontramos una de las toallas con alguna mancha seca, lo que no resultó muy agradable.
