Panorama Apartments Semslach

The apartment is big and well lit and has a lovely balcony with a wonderful view .Each apt also has it's designated parking area,which is very convenient.The location is in a quiet area with plenty of walking paths and trails.

Our host was always ready to reply to all our queries and he was very warm and helpful but the communication was through msgs only, we were a bit unhappy about this as when we booked the apt the booking.com msg said that someone would be there to meet us on arrival but later we recd a msg from the property saying that the keys would be in a security box etc. The details were very precise and clear but personally I prefer to have a person to receive me and show me around the apt. In the apt some basic things were missing for example the kitchen light should have had 3 bulbs but only one was there even in the sitting area some bulbs were missing,no bottle opener in the kitchen, all the garbage bins were right in front of the entrance to our apt etc. To the best of my understanding if someone had been there to receive us all these little things could have been easily sorted out.

Good location. Apartment was very clean. Huge, comfortable bed.

A fan in the bathroom that could not be switched off even when the shower was over (it switched itself off after a while). I think it was a matter of providing ventilation, but nevertheless the sound was a nuisance, especially as the bathroom is next to the bedroom with only has glass door.

- It was really comfortable to have electric blinds. - Apartment view was nice, you have valley view from the balcony. - You get keys from a lock box so you don't have to meet or wait for the owner. - The parking place is assigned to the apartment.

- After you book this apartment you'll receive message from the owner that you'll have to pay extra for the electricity you'll use. We used 53 kWh in a week which in my opinion is much. A couple which was hiking whole day long and only in the evenings turned on two laptops and did one loundry. - Drying mashine didn't work well. - We paid for whole apartment with 2 badrooms but received only one. One doors where closed and we couldn't get there. - Refrigerator was very small and didn't work properly. - Location is not very good, at least in summer time. Not much to see/do around. You'll have to drive everywhere to do something and usually you'll drive a lot. - In general it was clean but we found dead spider in the toilet on the flor.

Excellent accommodation, lots of space - inside also outside, great garden sauna available. Apartment with 3 bedrooms, so kids could sleep separately. Happy to come back again.
