Amazing scenery, great hospitality! Smartly equipped holiday apartment, good kitchen facilities, spacious bathroom. Everything was well-maintained and in order. The surroundings are breathtaking, and the house is easy to get to by public transport as well (the bus is rather infrequent, but it stops right at the house). Wonderful stay, and Ruth is a great host! Extremely peaceful place.

This probably only applies to the apartment we've been in, but I could've definitely do without the main door light beaming on my face in the night, when it was triggered by movement. Probably a stronger curtain (or another solution) is needed to block the light out better.

Ruth, the owner is very kind, speaks fluently english and is very felxible, kind person.

Everything was perfect.

The owner was very easy going and available when needed. There were also written instructions. I was looking for a quiet location to escape the fireworks in the city because of our dog, who suffers during that event. As confirmed by the owner the fireworks happened just after midnight for around 30-40 mins. Otherwise it was very calm and we could enjoy the days in peace with our dog. The nature is very beautiful and there are plenty of hiking routes. Next to the house is a hotel with a restaurant with traditional Austrian cuisine (accepts cards too) and right next to it a pizzeria. Puchberg am Schneeberg is about 7 min away by car, where you can spend some nice time or buy some groceries. In case you don't want to use a car there is a regular bus line just in front of the building.

The owner was very nice, helpful, explained everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. In front there is a terrace with seating, a lawn with a relaxation area. Next to the building there is an excellent restaurant offering trout from the nearby pond. The surroundings are quiet, close to the forest and meadows, with wonderful views of the Schneeberg.

beds were noisy when we got there, we could not reach anybody to get in, no answers on phone or bookingcom msg. we had to ask the neighbouring restaurant to call somebody.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ruth is a wonderful host who was friendly, welcoming and flexible. We arrived in the morning a few hours before check in, and Ruth kindly let us drop our bags at the house before going out walking. She gave us some great advice about walks to do in the area too which was really helpful. The apartment was spacious with a great mountain view from the balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast in the mornings and stargazing later in the evenings. There were plenty of good utensils in the kitchen for cooking and the beds were comfy. We also enjoyed a spontaneous trip to the sauna downstairs on one of the evenings. Can totally recommend Haus Lenz!
