Complex very dated

The view and the location were just perfect. The owner was easy to deal with and were very apologetic following a mistake on their part. Overall the stay was pleasant after the owner made arrangements. Read the negative part for the details of the incident.

The rooms were not cleaned upon arrival, turns out the owner had passed the wrong dates to the cleaners. The owner and cleaners were very helpful, they remedied the situation on short notice and the rest of the stay has been pretty good. I'd have given the property a score of 8 if not for this incident. Some facilities were in need of maintenance, most of them were small problems but the major ones were the bathroom door lock and the ventilating fan - neither of them work any more. Some things needed topping up (soap in the bathroom).

Absolute gem of a location (I use to live next door 😉) Modern spacious apartment, great floorplan, plenty of space and light. Loved having a morning cuppa on the balcony watching the early morning swimmers. Proximity to the beach is perfect, easy walk to everything you need. Comfy main bed, well stocked kitchen and treats on arrival. Great communication, well stocked kitchen with everything you need if you chose to cook.

We had a few issues during our stay (the early ones we noticed were a broken chair, the shower grate was full of someones long hair & empty food wrappers behind the main bed head), to which an apology was offered and the cleaner was contacted to see what had happened, as I was told, "she is an excellent cleaner who prides herself on her work and gets great reviews." The issues were offered to be rectified early in the morning and a bottle of wine offered too (to which we refused, it was nothing major that we couldn't fix or put aside). Later that night we found a sticker in one of the single beds (were the sheets changed?) The towels in the single rooms smelt like cigarette. There were hairs and crumbs in the second bed. The soap dispenser on the bathroom sink was empty.

Everything! Beautiful apartment, sunrise was spectacular, location and view from balcony is stunning. Short walk to town and welcome gift was so thoughtful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

The value for money is the biggest sell. It was definitely a luxury vibe (which did mean I had to hide the glass chess board and gorgeously breakable coasters in the closet from my toddler) and the location made it everything we wanted. The view was stunning and the beach on our doorstep gave bub a lot of joy. I also asked the staff whether it was possible to leave chocolate on the bed for my husband as a fathers day gift and also for my birthday. They went above expectation and not only gave us chocolate, but NICE chocolate and spelled out LOVE on the bed. They also gave us a bottle of wine (which I enjoyed immensely). It was the perfect weekend where we felt like a couple again while simultaneously dealing with the chaos of parenthood.

The water in the shower was a little low pressure for our liking and had a delay in adjusting temperature which made it difficult to manage impatient toddlers. This wouldn't be a problem though for those with older kids.

Aircon didn't work
