Bridgecroft House

The owners have thought of every need that a traveller may need. We appreciated how well set up, clean,welcoming, homely, comfortable and easy access with excellent communication from the owners directly. We didn’t use all the facilities so will have to visit again. The breakfast items left ready for us was so lovely and provided for us our entire stay - and coffee machine was a bonus!

This accommodation is awesome, perfect in every way. Spacious, clean, endless appliances, games, books the list goes on! Cannot recommend this beautiful home and the villa enough. The owners are extremely lovely, accommodating, made us feel like we were family, checked in on us after we settled in to make sure we were OK.

The stay wasn't long enough.

Andrew was a great host and very responsive to all communications. The range of facilities at the property gave us lots to do after our day trips touring the south of Tasmania, and on the inclement days. The supply of breakfast basics (bread, milk, tea/coffee and cereal) were adequate for the first couple of days, then we bought our own supplies. What was provided was of excellent quality. The house had plenty of heating options. The woodfire did a great job for the evenings and the aircon took the chill off the mornings. The local IGA supermarket was sufficient for 'top-up' supplies. The local Richmond township has an abundance of local attractions. We enjoyed the cafes, craft shops, tasting venues, among many other things.

The only eating out option we found in Richmond after 5pm was the local pub, so we either ate in or had a meal in Hobart (25mins away) at the end of a touring day.

Breakfast items were great. Plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked. All were happy with the house and slept well, as the beds were good quality and area is very quiet.
