Aqua Soleil - Byron Bay Apartment For Rent

The interior was pleasant.

The apartment had no view. At times the side street had 13 vehicles around the property. The property next door had large noisy parties including a stripper in full view. The 40+ steps made it unsuitable for elderly people.

Our flight to Ballina landed in the evening, so it was excellent that a door code allowed us access to the property the moment we arrived. The communication with the hosts was exceptional from the first contact and we were made to feel most welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The use of a door code meant that we didn't need to carry keys to the property around with us, one less thing to remember and no messing around. The location of the property was excellent, a real fifteen minute walk to the centre of Byron Bay and one day we discovered a hidden pathway that allowed us to walk about half of that distance through trees and quiet streets. The easiest way to find this is, actually on your way back to the property, so first time out head into Byron using the main road, Shirley Street, it's a straight line into town. On your way back, use Shirley Street but head up Milton Street and keep heading west to the property. Milton Street ends, but there is a pathway through the trees which joins with Cavvanbah Street in about 150 metres. Keep walking along Cavvanbah and you're back at Aqua Soleil. The property is five minutes from the beach, check it on map software, so easy to get to and Belongil is such a beautiful beach with plenty of clean sand and a view of Cape Byron lighthouse on the headland. We were lucky enough to get some winter sun (about 20C) and spent a couple of relaxing hours at Belongil Beach and it was perfect to walk such a short distance back to the property. Inside the property is spacious, white, clean and bright. There's a mezzanine floor where the bed and en-suite with shower are which is large enough to stow your suitcases with plenty of surface space to leave clothes and items within reach. Downstairs is the main space and with the wrap around glass doors and windows, the sun and breeze come in making the combined living/kitchen area a pleasure to relax/cook/live in.
