Arcadia Apartment - Cottesloe

The location was excellent

We should have been notified that renovations were being carried out on the apartment building for the days we were staying with drills hammers jackhammering It is just courtesy that we be told as we booked over months ahead

The host didn’t tell us they are renovating the building. We had tradesmen at our windows all the time. The used power tools the whole time, even on Saturday. We had to step around ladders and wet concrete to get to our room. One day I couldn’t get changed as there were men at both windows.

We should have been told that the building was undergoing extensive exterior maintenance and that the noise would start from just after 7am.

It was a lovely apartment, had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Inside the apartment was lovely, but the outside needs a lot of work. There is extra supports all the way along the verandah to help hold up the upstairs verandah which doesn't look very safe. We stayed on the bottom floor, and we could hear the occupants upstairs walking around (sounded like they were stomping it was so loud) we could hear when they flushed the toilet. The particular occupants who were there at the same time as us we so loud! I was woken up during both nights at 2 & 3am by them talking, stomping around, it sounded like they were moving furniture, banging doors. It ruined our stay and our sleep the whole weekend.

Good location and spacious.

Noisy neighbours screaming and shouting from midnight to after 4am (sounded like she was on drugs). Parking permit had expired 5 months ago. Doors missing and inadequate blockout of light from windows and doors for sleeping and privacy.

Great location- right near the beach.

No door on the bedroom, not enough toilet paper supplied for our stay, not much natural daylight, blinds broken

Good location within walking distance to most things.

The location, but at this time of the year was busy

Not a big issue but there was no view from any windows.
