Arcadia Apartment - Cottesloe

The location was ideal, and as an apartment it was super cosy and nice! It worked perfectly for me as a space to stay in and such a close walk to the beach. It was a bit expensive but worth it! It was secure and I felt safe.

There is black mould in the bathroom above the shower and the water was either scorching hot or freezing cold. It also was a little less modern than the photos showed. The walls were SUPER THIN. I could hear the apartment above, very vividly…so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue!

Great location. Parking was sometimes difficult as spaces along the road were taken. Suitable for 2 adults and maybe 2 kids, but difficult to all eat together as the table only accommodated 2 people.

Noise from upstairs unit was almost unbearable - we nearly left after the first night. The floor is paper thin and every footstep and the moving of furniture is amplified. The guests upstairs were walking around till after midnight each night. We ended up buying earplugs, but they were ineffective.

Close to the beach, clean and reasonably comfortable.

Felt the pictures didn’t truely reflect the apartment. Everything was a bit old and worn. The neighbours were very noisy so we were kept awake two of the four nights.

Gorgeous apartment, neat and clean. Close to everything!!
