Cosy, comfy, peaceful, relaxing accommodation. Has all the basic necessities for a stay on Lord Howe.

The only downside is the hill climb each day which nothing can be done about just gets tiring having to climb. The wifi is also off and on not sure why as first few days it worked perfectly fine but last few days couldn’t get any wifi working

Lovely stay at the Broken Banyan. Barbara was wonderful and kind and ever so helpful with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back! Picked us up from the airport and then dropped us to our next place we were staying. Rooms were comfortable, a bit dated but comparatively to other places in lord Howe it’s normal.

The property is quite far up the hill, but you can’t really change that! It’s well worth it though, more just as a comment that you have to walk or peddle up a hill yo get there.

Great value for many given this Lord Howe Island. Barbara was so lovely, picking us up from the airport and taking us shopping first before showing us the island and then onto our accommodation. She also took us to restaurants in the evening.

Wi-Fi is need of an upgrade at The Broken Banyan, but most restaurants and bars have WiFi. The accommodation is a bit dated.

the host picked us up at the airport gave us a tour of the settlement drove us to a shop then to the apartment after giving us a tour of the property She also drove us to a restaurant for dinner if we booked one.

Beautiful tropical gardens with great garden furniture and BBQs. Free use of laundry . Lovely quiet , peaceful location. Flyscreens on all windows

A bit dated. Lounge chairs very low to ground. Need good legs to walk up the hill after a swim.
