Yacht Club Villas on Hamilton Island by HIHA

It was spacious, comfortable and each bedroom had great views of the ocean. What a dream location.

Everything, enough to come back a second time. The location, security, facilities, the rooms, the outlook was awesome.

Not really enough towels for 6 full days and no face cloths. Could have done with some more basic condiments e.g. salt/pepper, oil, paper towels.

Handover was good

There was not towels till late the first day delivered and they were the Reef view hotel towels not the usual nice towels There was a leak from the ceiling that we had to put 3 buckets under all 10 days right at the top of the stairs The maintenance men came and made a huge mess that was not cleaned up properly and we found one of the lying on the sofa on top of my clothes The dryer didn't work and was only replaced day 4 The sliding door to the terrace was not working properly - really heavy to open specially with food or drink in hand so using outside was a pain The main bedroom bathroom toilet only flushed half button only The staff didn't relay care that these things were happening

Location excellent, views outstanding and rooms great - beds extremely comfortable. Games room with pool table excellent addition as was the free WiFi. Buggies and late check out appreciated and made a big difference to our stay.

No real handover with operation of house and no manual. Staff member dropped us off (very friendly) but no further info other than see QR code in kitchen. Didn’t work out some of lights in kitchen… think they may have been broken. Integrated doors to fridge/freezer broken, extractor fan not working at all and Dishwasher temperamental (had to turn on/off at mains to get to work ). Also some issues with cleanliness - outdoor furniture covered in bird poo, dirty knickers left in upstairs bedroom and some windows not cleaned in a long while. Mind you bathrooms very clean.

Amazing amount of spaces, beautiful views and great facilities.. couldnt ask for anything more

It would have been nice to at least have salt, pepper, olive oil etc, the small stuff rather than needing to buy these things and then just throw them out pretty much full.

Towels! For a luxury experience the size and quality were poor.

Villa 20 has the most amazing view of the water. Spacious villa that fit 4 x couples easily. Great to be able to cook at home amongst friends. Beds and rooms were large, particularly the master suite which was massive. Large entertaining area. Villa comes with 2 buggies which is very handy with a valet pick-up/drop off service.

Wifi was very weak, slow and unreliable. Furniture condition needs to be addressed. Valet service on pick up was 35min after everyone had left. Be good to have flexibility on drop offs. Pool needs a pool heater. Keypad at entry gate was super unreliable as well.
