Figtree on First - Heart of Sawtell Village, Beach, Shops

The instructions to retrieve the keys were not accurate. It described the garage door on the left as you drove in on the lane. It was actually on the right. It had the number 2 above the door, yet this was not mentioned in the instructions. It took 3 phone calls and over 30 minutes to sort out.

Parking was ridiculous even my small corolla struggled to fit in the garage and there wasn’t enough toilet paper, only enough for one night. On top of this 48 hours before without any warning we were requested to pay $500 as a bond, still unsure if this was a scam or not, if it wasn’t it is utterly ridiculous to expect us to just drop $500 as a bond.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the beach and on the main street with cafes and restaurants. The house was well equipped with everything you need to cook a good meal. We loved our stay.

The rooms let in a lot of light in the morning, which can mean a very early wake up.

Great location and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

Great location on the beautiful Figtree lined main street less than 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Foodies & live music fans will enjoy this coastal gem!

Black out blinds in the bedrooms would be great.

Brilliant location, above the restaurants and cafes, just put the car in the garage , lock it up and leave for the entire stay. Well appointed and clean,

The location was a little confusing as it was not clear on maps, but the contact person was patient and helpful. After that, the rest was easy. Bedrooms are very light and hot in the early morning. So would benefit from blackout blinds, fan or small air con.

The instructions on how to open the gagage and access the lockbox were clear... what was missing was instructionas that the garage was located off a narrow laneway at the back of the property, we ended up having to park the car, and walk to try and locate the correct property and garage.

I paid an additional fee to have a cot provided for my 12 mnoth old grandson, but when we arrived it wasn't there, and I had to contact the host, who brought it about 1.5 hours after we checked into the property, by which time the baby was very overtired.
