A Cozy & Lux Apt Next to Southern Cross Station

we experienced an interesting phenomenon where, while the oven was on our Wi-Fi got noticeably worse (we were watching YouTube on the TV). After our sausages were done cooking, the video buffering went away haha. (Suspect it might be due to the same 2.4 GHz being used both by the Wi-Fi router and the microwave function of the oven?)

The location is great. Everything is near. The size of the apartment. It is quite large. The bedroom was also a nice size. And it was quite silent. I also appreciate to have at disposal a dryer machine for the laundry. And also to have enough coffee for my stay.

There were few minors rooms for improvement which I communicated to the owner who was very reactive to handle them.

We felt safe and secure.

The location is opposite of Southern Cross station, near the area of Coles so you can shop everything you want. You can approach the station for train/ coach & SkyBus easily; also for the tram stations just around the corner. The office has the luggage service with cheaper price than the storage inside station then you can come to pick/ leave the key and drop the luggage at the same time. Everything inside the apartment is perfect for family or group, even more than our expectation or needs :)

Wifi didnt work :) but they informed us in advance and contact to fix at the 2nd day. For girl group, I think add one more mirror (besides the one in bathroom) will be more convenient for everyone.

This apartment was just right for us for our two week stay. Location was perfect, tram at the front door, and 24 hour supermarket across the road. It was quiet, central to our needs and everything went without a hitch. The pool and gym are also quiet and you can make good use of the facilities.

As someone else had mentioned previously, the microwave is in an awkward position with no power point. I would suggest that until this is rectified, that you take your own powerboard. Also there is no antenna point or Wifi in the apartment so TV is useless unless you take your own device to get that going?? The loud noise that comes from the front door is easily overcome by just pulling the door inwards towards after you shut it. No wet towel required if you do this.

The apartment is really well located next to Southern Cross station, easy baggage storage down the road for anyone arriving earlier than check in…and huge shopping mall across the road. Tram stops are super close so it is easy to navigate the city.

The apartment itself is really lacking in mirrors. There is only one in the bathroom and no where else, which made it a bit more challenging for a group of ladies on our girls weekend to all get ready efficiently. There is a TV in the lounge room, but it is not connected to anything, so we had no access to this for the duration of our trip. We weren’t there to watch tv, but it meant that the room had no background noise or music to be played etc. There was a strange noise coming from the room door which was really annoying. We worked out how to make it stop, but still had bouts of it.

the apartment was gorgeous, amazing views, very clean, luxurious shower. beds were firm but comfortable. access to washing machine, dryer and fridge was great. was very homey, plus cute inspirational quotes on the walls which was lovely. will definitely stay here again

the communication with the host was a bit lacking. it was hard to get in contact with her, and once I did I was told to contact someone else who then told me again to contact her, that’s really the only thing I can complain about

no TV connected in the room Poor communication several 3rd parties , so to get any response was difficult. 4 different contacts even was given an indonesian number???!!!! no evacuation plan displayed in apartment and we had an evacuation host is very aware of not providing what is advertised very frustrating stay
