Saint Pauls 1 bedroom apartment

Picking up the keys at the designated location was easy. Very friendly lady.

There was an awful cigaret smell in the hallway and in the apartment as other residents were smoking on the little terrace right at the windows of the apartment. You could hear everything… It was not very clean, one of the mattresses has a huge hole, which is not comfortable. The apartment needs a paint refresh … and one of the steps is broken. The front door didn’t close correctly so really not feeling safe. Really expensive for what it is! Would not recommend at all, even not for just sleeping there.

Very central, close to cafés, shopping, the river. Spacious room, soft sofa and big beds.

Almost constant noice from the hallway. The place was filthy and run down. The garden view in the description doesn't exist, only view is trash bins. Very little privacy. No TV channels, only YouTube. Friendly staff, but no follow up on missing batteries and view.

I was in a hurry but the reception desk was very assistive and kept to the necessary contents. The location is a bit off the center-center but nice nevertheless. Although cleanliness was an issue in the comments I was lucky and found the appartment in fair condition.

The furniture and entire flat is a bit rocked down. If you only plan to sleep and not live there this does pose an minor issue.

Honestly, after 4 nights traveling around Belgium this was definitely the worst accommodation and also the most expensive. A place to avoid. First of all, the room is not like the one in the photo, much less welcoming and looks more like a commune than an apartment. The room was dirty, the sheets on all the beds were used and with signs of female make up and hair. There are spiders and cobwebs and the ground was very dirty. The structure is located in an extremely noisy apartment (the walls are very thin) and inhabited by various young people who continuously made noise during the night and at 4.30 a.m. they started ringing the outside bell which is a siren. Although the location is central, the surroundings are secluded. For 120€ the judgment is really bad.
