Savannah Cabins, Taronga Western Plains Zoo

The location next to the zoo is a plus, especially if you want to go early in the day and see the animals before it gets crowded.

It's deceitful to advertise the accommodation with no mention of the major construction work going on all around. The cabin was not clean... footprints on the floor, red dust settled on the handles. It's all starting to look tired. Neighbouring families were underwhelmed by the views of trenches.

Well appointed 2 bedroom cottage with a very comfortable bed and lounge.

The building plans sound wonderful and I look forward to visiting when they are finished but wasn't a great look right now

The cabins were a good size. Great facilities. Very relaxing.

Not complaining, but they were doing building works to extend facilities and our view to the wildlife was restricted due to the mounds of earth. But we understand that these works needed to be done

AC was on when we got in. Clean and super comfortable bed. Quite.

Everything was great .lady at reception didn't have much knowledge on the savannah cabins though
