Savannah Cabins, Taronga Western Plains Zoo

The location.

At night, a lot of bugs and mosquitoes where inside the cabin being attracted by the light and could not get them out unless using bug spray to kill them. Construction work right in front of the cabin wasn’t a great site to look at..

absolutely chuffed witht\ the accom, was able to see giraffes and zebras from the verandah, we checked in late so would have loved to have been there earlier to take advantage of the view! Rooms were spacious and clean, will definitely be back again!

Only down side was the excavation outside the front of our cabin but being that they are quite new, that is understandable

We had a lovely stay and the zoo entry over the two days was excellent. Highly recommended for families.

Everything was great

Loved the size of the cabin, proximity to the zoo, being able to see giraffes from our verandah and being in a safe, gated property

Nothing really

The actual property was lovely and so close to the Zoo! We loved that we could see some of the animals.

The kitchen wasn’t well stocked. Not enough knives for the four of us and also lacked thing like kitchen tongs, chopping boards etc The fan in the main bedroom also only worked on one setting and was so loud (clicking/knocking sound) that we were unable to sleep with it on.
