Balgal Beach Units

Location - very quiet, could hear the ocean and no traffic or human noises nearly all of the time. Excellent value. A wonderful host who met me, ensured I settled in despite lateish arrival, had a lovely conversation, then left me to enjoy the serenity for the rest of my stay. Unit had everything needed for self catering; well beyond that provided by much more expensive places. Loved the retro/1970s feel and furniture; an authentic blast from the past. So close to the beach that I caught a tropical sunrise.

Quiet and very relaxing

Everything was excellent

We love staying at the Balgal Beach Units, the beach is so close and almost deserted, the peace is only interupted by birdsong. The occassional glimpse of wildlife is a bonus and for those with a fishing inclination, the fish are biting :) There is a full kitchen available but if eating out is your option, the Rollingstone Pub and The Mystic Sands Golf Club do a good meal as does the newly opened Cafe at the Balgal Boat Ramp at the end of Balgal Beach Road.

Secluded, quiet, within walking distance to the beach.
