"Hidden gem in Melbourne’s St Kilda"

The cottage is tucked away from the main road so no noise can’t be heard from there, still it’s in the middle of everything. St Kilda is a very cool part of Melbourne and there’s some fantastic restaurants & bars (try «Lady of St Kilda» for dinner) all around. A direct tram (no 96) goes directly to Southern Cross Station (which takes 23 min to get there), some more trams and buses drive regularly to the city centre.

We couldn’t close our eyes for a long time on Saturday night/Sunday morning as a party was going on in the neighborhood. It was the first accommodation on our trip around Australia without a washing machine/dryer; still no big deal as there’s some good laundries close-by.

Beautiful house with great facilities, comfy bed and lovely sheets and towels. Well stocked kitchen. Everything very clean, excellent location, extremely friendly and accommodating owner. I would absolutely stay again.

Self catering apartment. Location is fabulous. Right in the heart of the St Kilda - Acland Street district. Very quiet, Very private, Very secure. Walk to dozens of cafe/restuarants. Tram is 2 minute walk. Very friendly and helpful host.

Ensuite was a little small - but OK Floor had a loud squeak - which was a little annoying when you got out of bed at night - but this was a minor niggle.
