Great family stay in Sarajevo – perfect location near Baščaršija! We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 kids, and a small dog) and had a wonderful experience. The host welcomed us personally, showed us the apartment, and helped us with parking options. The apartment was spacious, with one bathroom and an extra toilet, and the kids had their own bedroom. All rooms – the living room and both bedrooms – were individually air-conditioned, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is ideal, just above Baščaršija, with a local bakery and grocery store nearby, and only a 2-minute walk to the old town. Recommended if you want to stay close to the heart of Sarajevo, yet in a more quiet and convenient spot.

We didn't like any of it

Last year, when we first visited Sarajevo, we really liked this place. That’s why we decided to stay here again with our family. However, unfortunately, this time we were very disappointed. The main reason for our dissatisfaction was the cleanliness — or rather, the lack of it. The sheets from the previous guests had not been changed, and the place was extremely dirty. There were strange stains on the sofa downstairs, and the entire area felt unclean and neglected. The sheets and pillows were covered in hair, and the towels were in terrible condition. There are many more details I could mention, but I will stop here. The only reason I’m writing this review is in the hope that the management will take it seriously and improve the standards, so that they can continue receiving the positive feedback they once did. Unfortunately, the money we spent felt wasted and the experience left us quite unhappy.
