Avila Apartments

The location is great.

The place is nice but in reality smaller than the pictures. It is enough for two not any more. Also if you have big suite-case, you need to consider going up stairs carrying that as there is nobody to help you.

Beds were comfortable and clean sheets. Location was close to old town. Shower pressure was good.

The apartment is not clean like the photos suggest. Furniture was very stained and floors felt dirty we could not walk without shoes on. Overall we did not feel comfortable as we did not feel comfortable to relax anywhere other than the bed. If your cleanliness standards are high then this is not the apartment for you. It needs a good clean and better maintenance.

The apartment was clean and spacious and very centrally located

We paid for 5 people and the description of the room was that there would be 2 sofa-beds provided. In the description given it clearly states unit has 4 beds but there was only 1 sofa bed which is broken. There is only another sofa, NOT a sofa-bed. We did contact the reception but they were unable to send anyone to fix it. We are not happy with this as we have paid for 5 people to sleep on beds not on a sofa and were expecting a sofa-bed. There should not be broken furniture in the apartment, nor should there be false advertisement that there are more beds than they actually are. We contacted the property through booking.com multiple times but they just ignored us and the reception were not helpful. I would have at least liked a response apologising for it. This sadly ruined the reputation for this property

Be careful with invoices - get an invoice or bill before you pay. A nice apartment and I would recommend it if the service was honest and kept its word. I was there for a short time, so I don't know about other help for guests, but there is a big problem with the invoice. Unfortunately, if you need an invoice or bill, this is not the place for you, Although they indicated that they issue invoices and assured that there is no problem with it, I did not receive it. The most important thing for the manager and owner was payment (but this is normal and understandable). Unfortunately, they only call and think about you until the payment. They promised a bill or invoice, saying that they would send it to the e-mail address, because they issue invoices later. They assured that this document would be 100%. Unfortunately, I waited 10 days, wrote text messages and many messages on booking.com and not a single answer. After payment, the service disappeared.

I did not receive an invoice. They write on Booking.com that they issue invoices. After arrival they promise to issue one and send it to my email. Unfortunately, after payment they disappear and do not reply to messages and requests for an invoice.
