Apartment in Antwerp city centre

Apartment complex has excellent location opposite train station and zoo. Walking distance into old-town. We were initially put into small apartment facing busy road that was very noisy and cramped for 3 people, but for a little bit extra the host moved us to a much larger apartment that was spacious and comfortable with the bedrooms away from the busy road. Host was easy to contact and responded quickly to messages. Apartments are clean and functional.

Very basic amenities, no finishing touches - no tea, coffee etc. No fans or air-con (it was 36 degrees when we were there). Wifi didn't work in the bedrooms.

The host was super responsive and went out of their way to accommodate us -- from offering a free upgrade to the recently remodeled room to allowing a late check out so that I could have my afternoon business meeting without having to move my luggage in the morning. This is even more than any hotel can offer. Also communicating with the host via Whatsapp both by voice and in messages was very easy and the host responded promptly, even in a late hour. The host casts the sense of true welcome and of a very healthy desire to accommodate. Thank you.

Die Lage nahe dem Bahnhof ist gut, die Straße direkt etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Eigenartiger Geruch beim Eingang ins Stiegenhaus. Die Straße ist laut, die Wohnung hellhörig.

Very central to everything , clean and everything you need .

Property was great , but a little noisy late into the evening , but been so central was only to be expected.

Very well-located, clean, and well-organized apartment

Our "upgraded room" (see below) had one bedroom with a double bed, and a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Everything was tidy and clean. There is quite a bit of noise from the street in the room with the double bed, but I think the trams stop at midnight. We got uses to it. Towels and fresh linens provided. The location near the train station is great. Close to some restaurants, the zoo, and a 20-minute walk to the centre of the older part of town.

When we arrived, we waited for 30 minutes for the owner to show up. Then he brought us to an "upgraded room" around the corner at a different address. I'm glad another review mentioned a similar experience, as otherwise, it would have found this sketchy. The owner was very nice, though, and I am glad he met us and talked to us a little bit to give us some tips.

Initially we were supposed to stay at the location listed on the booking. The host upgraded our room and it was even better than the room from the pictures! New room was located just a few meters away. Great location, only 5min away from central station. Everything else was perfect, welcoming and friendly host! 10/10 would reccomand!
