What an amazing place to stay! We felt very welcome at SEAVIEWS, Richard & Marti are exceptional hosts. View from the bedroom is amazing, we really enjoyed the fire on our last night of stay. Highly recommend!

The view Fabulous .Perfect location a hidden Oasis.The hosts couldn’t have been better. We were left fruit chocolate amongst other treats👌🏼.Even though they lived downstairs we never saw or heard them at all. Very respectful of our space while staying.Highly recommend.

The only thing we found hard was overlooking a pool we could not swim in.😔I understand it would be looking into their home. Just ashame it could not be made accessible and private for both parties.As neither we’re using it during our stay.

Catering to breakfast was quite satisfactory. We were the first guests after Cyclone Jasper and subsequent flooding which shut down Port Douglas for a week because of damage to its water supply. There was a lot of damage to roads and homes in the wider vicinity. Nevertheless, Sea Views had its own water supply. Richard did an amazing job to clean up his acreage and present it attractively. The accommodation was spotless too. Richard is a considerate host, always keen to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. He produces a quality pale ale. Ricardo's Pizzaria is well worth trying. Richard can assist.

Parking is on the street. Safe enough but a wee bit inconvenient. There is no alternative though.

Richard & Marti are great hosts. Very friendly and always ready to help. The views are spectacular and the room is very nice and very clean

Loved the views. The apartment was nice & tidy with a few treats.

Need to specify what 'kitchenette' doesn't have (no stove or hotplates). The sink is so small, it is difficult to wash up in. Great if eating out. While relatively private & a quiet cul-de-sac, we felt that there needed to be some sort of privacy screen or similar to block view between the bathroom/shower window & the road. While some may like the hosts attentiveness, we found it almost intrusive. We weren't there to socialise with the host. Having said that, the apartment suited us for the time we were there.

Everything was perfect. A wonderful apartment, awesome views and birdlife, perfect parking, generous arrival goodies including the most brilliant beer, peaceful, great hosts, great toileteris, I could go on.

Only that we stayed just 2 nights. Wanted much more.
