The Traill

Shower and bathroom were good.

Got woken up at 5 am every day by an air conditioning unit on the roof of the building. When we messaged the host about this there was no reply. we messaged them 3 times but there was no reply from them. I wanted to give them a chance to respond before leaving a negative feedback. We lost over 2 hours sleep every day for the 3 days we were there. We also messaged that there were no tea towels, normal tea bags or cloth to wipe down the kitchen bench and they never replied about that either. Hosts just not interested in clients after being paid for the booking.

Location is fantastic, right in the middle of the town.. easily walkable to the supermarket and pubs.

Toilets weren't cleaned, internet was not working and shower head was broken

The location is great

No internet which is key when traveling internationally with little access to data. Also it looked “clean” until you really looked - countertops, kitchen sink, night stands, carpet - it good all use a deep cleaning. No paper goods other than toilet paper, no dish towel that we could find.

Location amazing room beautiful

Space. Position. New bathrooms.

I have stayed at the Traill probably 6 times before. Love the position and the space of the apartment. However this time it seems like they have lost the care and small touches that make it special. No milk in the fridge to start the stay. Couldn’t find 3 glasses the same to share some wine. Glasses and crockery very haphazard. Only 3 bath towels for 4 guests! Pillowcases very harsh rough like sandpaper. No tissues A pity seemed like they had lost the love for the apartments and they are my favourite place to stay in Margaret River. The apartments are not cheap to stay in so a little care is appreciated.

Details received for location of property were good. Easy to locate keys in lock box. Parking was immediately outside of property therefore easy to load and unload car. Property was very well located above the Main Street easy to access amenities.

There was a supply of tea and coffee, would be nice if creamer sachets/milk had been available. We didn’t bring any due to heat.

Spacious and comfortable

Internet was not working most of the time. Staff initially were unresponsive and then rude when they finally came and no verbal apology offered. Cleanliness was poor - windows were dirty and cobwebbed, pan was dirty, dishwasher not emptied on our arrival, hole in bedsheet, bathrooms had hairs, dryer filter not cleared etc (I have photos)
