Balcony apartment in Central Antwerp

-Long wait for compagnie invoice -Apartment cannot be locked from the inside -Rather old and basic old apartment -Key must be picked up at another location

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly when picking up the key to the apartment! The place itself had an elevator inside, something I was surprised by, and was in a great location. I stayed in the apartment with the balcony view, and it was beautiful! Upon first looks, the apartment seemed very spacious and great.

However, after being in the apartment for a bit of time, there was a smell from the water or pipes in the bathroom. I truly tried to avoid using the bathroom at all due to the unpleasant smell. I also noticed dead bugs squished on the walls throughout the apartment - both marking from them and the dead bugs still there themselves. I found it very difficult to sleep as well, since it was hot when I was there, but opening the windows meant more bugs would get inside. Having a fan in the apartment would have been helpful.
