Griffin Apartments Kingston

We loved the location. Kingston is a very interesting part of Canberra

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like

The apartment was in a great location very near the Kingston shops/restaurants etc and within walking distance to Manuka. Spacious, comfortable, well supplied, clean apartment. Georgie in the office was great!

Little things only: reading lamp needed on both sides of bed. Water leaking into main bedroom ensuite, caused noise at night when water had to pump in repeatedly, soap dispenser needed in ensuite shower.

The apartment was lovely.. Location was reasonably close to everything.. We took a walk to the foreshore on Saturday evening and had a lovely dinner and then found a lovely bar with excellent live music.. I love visiting Canberra and will definitely be back..

Overall we were very happy.. There were a few dirty marks on a curtain but we weren't too concerned with that..

Finally, an alternative property was offered but too late for the second guest who fell ill and had to return home - later hospitalised with pneuomonia.

No heating on day of check-in and host was uncontactable until the following day. It was very cold in Canberra and one of the guests had to return home ill - later diagnosed with pneuomonia. Unacceptable that there was not contact on a public holiday.

Good location

The dishwasher wasn’t working. No child safety locks on windows

The location. The layout of the apartment. Proximity to a supermarket.

The smell in the lift. We could tell someone had tried to clean it. But it was pretty horrid. The hair dryer was missing - we were going to a wedding so we did miss it but not a huge problem. It was ANZAC Day so not worth disturbing the hosts.

Spacious and well located

A bit tired, it could do with a refresh. The ensuite shower needs a good clean.
