ATW Apartments

Het appartement was dichtbij het ov en de winkels. Het ontvangst was heel hartelijk en vriendelijk. Fijn dat we de bagage konden laten staan

Het appartement was oud en het rook een beetje muf

Lokacija je odlična, 10 minuta pješke od povijesnog centra grada. Domaćin je bila gospođa koja ne zna engleski, ali je jako simpatična.

Apartman je bio dosta prljav, kuhinja slabo opremljena, jedna je soba toliko mala da unutra ne stane ništa osim osobe. U dnevnom boravku/ kuhinji je samo jedno svijetlo, koje je pretpostavljam namjenjeno za nekakvu garažu, tako da je svijetlost jako intenzivna, hladna, a istovremeno ne dopire do kuhinje, pa u bilo koje doba dana možete kuhati u mraku. Kuhinja je slabo opremljena, dosta namještaja oštećeno ili strgano.

This is a no-frills apartment, and ideal if you want cheap as frites accommodation a few minutes from the central station, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. It is an easy walk through the main shopping district to the gorgeous old town. If you just want a base, the apartment is clean, with a kitchen, dining and lounging area, a big fridge (for delicious Belgian beers), and comfy beds. You receive a friendly welcome to get your keys for the private entrance and apartment, which is accessed by a small lift. Even though the apartment does not have a hairdryer, the owner kindly provided one for us after I messaged to ask if one was provided. . A nice touch.

Although it didn't bother us, the busy street at the front can be noisy. The apartment could do with some lamps, particularly by the beds. The lighting was a bit harsh! The place just needs a little bit of decorating TLC to make icosier. But, for the price - around £220 each (there were two of us) for five nights., it was a bargain. The balcony is not really nice enough to use. A clean/paint and some outdoor seats would help. However, it has a fabulous view of the beautiful train station which is lit up at night.

Handy location, easy for the station, trams and to walk into the historic centre. The apartment was spacious with 2 separate bedrooms and a lounge. Large clean fridge and freezer. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were not! Lounge area was comfortable and there was a large TV with a few English channels. Plenty of hot water for the shower.

The kitchen area let it down. It was dingy and appliances were very worn and grimy. A microwave would have been useful. We saw 2 large beetle type insects on the work surfaces (cockroaches?) There was a general tatty look to the whole apartment. It could be so much better with just some basic maintenance and tidying up. Not the fault of the host, but the building work directly opposite was very noisy, the concrete mixer started at 7am.

The location was great, 3 min walk to the train station and close to a lot of places to eat.

The apartment was not particularly clean, it was quite hot (there was only a small electrical fan that was not doing much). The temperature reached 27-38 °C. Street noise could be heard in the room facing the street since the window needed to be left open at night due to the heat.

Was zeer proper en ruim genoeg. Voordeel was ook dat er een lift aanwezig is.

Matras is te hard en te weinig zoals geen waterkoker in keuken en geen garde. 2 platen van vuur werkte niet zodat je er maar 2 kunt gebruiken. Licht van dampkap werkte niet

Zeer ruim en proper

Geen schaar in de keuken en dat is eigenlijk onmisbaar en ook geen keuken handdoek. Spons en vod en afwasmiddel wel maar voor af te drogen niet. Zie andere beoordeling van wat er nog mis is. Ook geen klein nachtlampje aanwezig voor s avonds aan te steken.
