SCA Sofia City Apartments

Super central location at the pedestrian zone Vitosha Boulevard. Very new and modern. Brand new furniture, bathroom and comfy big bed. Spotelessy clean, had a lot of spare towels, toiletries, slippers. There was coffee left for the machine, ice in the fridge. Big sofa in the living room and many TV channels.

Maybe the only minus is the first floor where is a bit dark and coldish. The terrace has a net for intruders.

This was such a great apartment! We have been to Sofia on multiple occasions but this is the best apartment we stayed at so far. It was very clean, functional, modern and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bathroom is simply a gem for Bulgarian standards as it has a separate shower cabin. This was indeed much appreciated. The host is super responsive and the location is top notch - directly in the city center. Absolutely perfect!

- As the apartment is located on the ground floor there is a bit of noise coming from the streets, but it did not bother us at all as it was just occasional car traffic. I must also say that the soundproofing was quite good and the difference was significant when the windows are opened and closed. - Occasional noise can also be heard from the apartment next door, but again this depends on your neighbours. We had no problems with this.

I'm giving a top rating despite two things that need to be fixed: Essential information is not provided through the booking.com website. I did not have this info until after our first night, when the apartment was too cold and we were unable to turn off a light in the bedroom. Both were easily fixed when we had the necessary info. It takes an electronic fob and two keys to enter and leave the apartment. If one member of a couple needs to go out alone, it means the other has to be locked inside the apartment with no way of exiting. That is a safety hazard. The management needs to provide a second set of keys.

Great location just off Vitosha street but nice and quiet. Comfortable, modern, secure apartment ideal for a couple. Easy check in with really good communication from the host including tips for the city.
