SCA Sofia City Apartments

The property was centrally located, clean, modern, well maintained, and secure. It is only a half-block off the popular pedestrian walkway on Vitosha Blvd, with shops and restaurants galore; and only a few minutes walk from the Metro. It was everything we hoped it would be. Alex facilitated our late night arrival with video instructions of how to retrieve the keys, and continued to maintain communication throughout our visit.

The only glitch in our otherwise perfect stay was the inability to control the room temperature during the warm evenings. Although there were remote controls for the two A/C units (in the living room and bedroom), they appeared to have a limit on how cool the temperature could be adjusted. We prefer to sleep in cooler temperatures than we were able to achieve. I am not very tech savvy, and may have missed something on the remotes. I should have communicated directly with Alex at the time, but we were caught up in exploring Sofia and its environs during the day, and I just didn’t do so. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay.

This is one of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. The location is amazing. The property is clean and exactly as in the pictures uploaded. The internet is reliable.

Central location of the apartment, literally feet away from the main pedestrian street of Sofia, the place is clean and small but very well organized and furnished. The host's communication was pleasant and generally timely. There are tons of restaurants to choose from.

Access to the place was not straight forward. I had received instruction as to entry while on the road and even a request to fill out personal information (ID and so on) as a condition to receiving entry. Quite cumbersome and annoying. Fortunately the host was not too picky about it and we did send the info later. Also, the street is narrow and busy and if you arrive by car you'd not be able to comfortably park and unload. We also had a problem due to difference of the code in the video the host sent and the code written in the text message. A call to the host was all needed to resolve the issue. In addition, the property was advertised to have parking. Not the case. There are several public parking structures for additional fees, about 500-600 m away, however, no parking at the property.

Maybe need to find a way to store luggage if needed. As our flight at 6:45pm we need to leave luggage till 4pm, they can only keep it till 2pm we have to carry luggage for the last 2 hours :(- Bathroom is central heating, same as room only winter has heating but room has air conditioning while bath room not at this season.

Everything, location, conditions, comfort. Kitchen with new furniture. Bed was comfortable too Easy communication with owner.

The apartment is amazing! It’s modern, cozy, comfortable and very clean. The location is great too, lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby. Check in/out was very easy and the owner is very nice and polite.
