the location was ok..

the bathroom was catastrophic where the shower didnt even have a proper place..the shower curtain fell right on me while closing on literally yourself..there was no hot water for an entire day...on calling up and asking about it to owner..he just said theres maintainence and its normal that it doesnt work for a day or so..we weren't informed about it..the bed squeaked loudly the entire time with slightest of movements...hot plates hardly could heat up..overall i would never stay here if i am visiting sofia again

Great location. Really nice owner - the check in time is 16:00, but he let me in the room already at 14:00. There is also an option to leave the luggage, if the room isn't ready yet. The room itself small, but nice and cozy!

The shower is not great, but still it was ok.

Excellent location and amenities, right next to the national palace of culture, price is super reasonable, hosts are very responsive and provide a lot of information during check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

No complaints

I liked communication with the host, he was there answering always the questions, explained detailedly the keys collection, so that went smoothly. Bed was soo comfortable, the whole place is cozy and has everything you may need for your stay, even the nice books in both English and Bulgarian and photos and description from booking are just correct.

Considering that apartment is located in the basement, it has a problem with humidity. And even thou the apartment has a small device which is supposed to regulate humidity, still my clothes was always wet once I take it off and change, because in June the weather was warm and we sweat lot. Therefore towels have also difficulties to be dry for the next use. Anyway, my body didn't felt cold because of that, and I slept beautifully. It didn't ruin my stay and if you staying there not more than 3-4 days it's fine. You will just need some extra clothes waiting you in the suitcase. One more thing, the wals are basemently rustic and decorative, but when you touch them, sand beetween the stones has tendency to fall off, and I also saw few ants once the sand was on the flor. But the apartment was perfectly clen when we arrived.

I recently stayed at Sofia Central Cave for three days, and overall, it was a good experience. The guesthouse is located in an old house, and my room was actually in the basement. Despite my initial concerns, the place was surprisingly clean and well-maintained. It had everything a person needs for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the city center and only 2 minutes from the metro station.

However, there were a few things that could be improved. The bed sheets were a bit exhausted and old. Additionally, the bed, whether it was the sheets, the duvet, or the mattress, had a heavy smell of mold and humidity, which made sleeping quite unpleasant. There were no bathroom slippers provided, which would have been useful.
