The door cannot be locked, this is very strange. The sofa bed is not clean at all, it is quite noisy because it is near the street.

No guest pass to use for city transport

Spacious apartment, not too far from the city centre.

Not registered with Switzerland Tourism official centre, hence does not offer free Swiss Travel Pass. All registered hotels and accommodations are able to provide, Swiss local travel passes.

Good location just outside of the highstreet and about 15 mins walk from central train station or about 5 mins by bus/tram. We enjoyed doing things ourselves, so the self-caring facilities were perfect for us. The flat was clean and looks spacious and comfy. Excellent communication from the owner throughout and he was able to answer urgent questions asked promptly. Check in and check out were relatively straightforward.

The apartment is on one of the busiest roads and it can get very noisy in the night if you are sensitive like us. So hard to sleep for us and the wall felt thin as we could hear one of the neighbours, who kept moving (like) furniture in the middle of the night. Other minor things that could be improved - while information was roughly enough but it lacked details on things like how to connect to Wifi (essential) and where the extra bedsheets/ towels are kept for instance. A welcome note or a pager in the room would help. We love making our own coffee and boiling water was a pain (in a pan). A kettle would help.

Noisy from the road and smell of cigarettes coming into apartment from neighbours. No microwave as per listing. Kitchen could do with a chopping board, a wooden spoon and a washing up bowl.

The property is close to the historical center, easy to walk to the lake. The flat was warm and has small kitchen which was nice. It was nice that the owner left some coffee capsules ready for you to use. It was super clean in the bathroom and the bed sheets neat.

It was obvious that the furniture was used and not replaced for a long time. It was dirty (stains on the sofa, arm chair) which doesn’t really make you to wanna sit there. Some of the neighbours was smoking all the time and the smoke goes directly to the flat through the kitchen. Nothing you can do, just have the window open all the time.

We love everything about this cute apartment in the middle of Lucerne.
