Big apartment that has everithing you need. Located on silent street.

Apartmant a little bit old and we could hear neighbors. Beside this everything was good.

Self-catering so breakfast was not included. Location was excellent.

Apartment had lots of space, was very well appointed and provided with everything one needed and more. The owner was charming, thoughtful and very helpful.

Great location in Meiringen! On a quiet street close to shops and dining and a great base to explore that valley of the Alps. The apartment was perfect! So cozy and cute, with all of the amenities you need, and still plenty of space to relax. Our host provided us with wonderful recommendations of nearby attractions and was very flexible with our check-in time which we greatly appreciated. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

The location is great - in the center of Meiringen, a short walking distance to the cable car and the restaurants. The owner was friendly and helpful. The facilities are comfortable and well designed up to the small details.

Very well-equipped kitchen, clean, and modern apartment. Comfortable bed. Easy communication about the arrival. Apartment located in very quiet area and is on the ground floor, so the access is easy. Parking of the car just in front of the apartment on the street (paid area for only short term parking – long term parking must be arranged in advance by the landlord for a reasonable fee). Peter is a fantastic landlord – all communication with him was fast, efficient and nothing was a problem for him. He gave us a lot of important information upon arrival to get oriented in a new place and take the most of our stay. He cares about his hosts with sheer passion. Fully recommended! (There are more apartments in the building managed by the owner, so our review is about apartment on the ground floor, but some information is general.)

Communication with Peter was very good. His wife picked us up at the station and took us back after our stay which was greatly appreciated. It’s an older building, but the apartment (one bedroom) has been updated. No street noise. You could hear other residents walking around but it wasn’t bad. Reminder….it is on the 2nd floor (3rd US). Only about a 5-minute walk to bahnhof and Migros. You had a view of the top of the mountains. Kitchen is nice and very well stocked for cooking and a nice size refrigerator. Even has a microwave. The washer and dryer are for the whole building and there were times people would leave clothes in them for long periods of time so it was hard to count on being able to use them. The apartment has plenty of space and lots of places to put things and hang clothes. We were there in September and had some cool weather. You can’t control the heat. It usually came on about 7:00. There was a fan, but we never needed it. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was our first time to stay in Meiringen. It was a pleasant change from touristy places like Interlaken, Grindlewald, etc. If you stay here be sure to walk down the street to the church and stroll through the cemetery. Beautiful.
