Plein soleil

I thought it was an entire apartment. there are 3 bedrooms that get rented and then you have the use of the apartment but it is not private. the apartment is lovely and clean and the host was friendly.

The location was near to the city. I disliked everything else. it was like the worst travel experience in my whole life.

The whole appartment was a ripoff. The owner was very rude and threatened me multiple times in french language during my stay. He doesn't speak any english, be aware. When you are not satisfied with the appartment he's suddenly not able to speak any foreign language at all.. You don't get an appartment, you get a small bedroom (with an even smaller bed) and a small private bathroom in a shared appartment. It's hard to even sleep there with 2 persons. Every other room (kitchen, TV, living room) is shared with 3 other travel-groups, some of them even with dogs/animals. I had to depart after the first night because there appeared a big german-shephard dog in the living room on day 2, who bared it's teeth to my 2year old son. (and i have also some sort of allergy to dog-hair). The price to value ratio isn't any good, you can get a 3-Star-Hotel for the same price. The rooms are not clean (lot of dust under the bed), there's mould on the wall-corners. There is a lot of trash/trashy furniture on the property. no child-beds available. We needed one and the owner wanted to give us the much to small one on the pictures (yeah, that one with the fire-wood above it!) In the end the owner refused to reimburse me in any way so I had to contact the booking-service for a small reimbursement. I would avoid staying here in the future under any circumstances. I've been to places all over the world but i never felt so frightened and uncomfortable in any other lodging. There is a pool on the property but it's only for the owner's family. You will feel like on a property where the owner can relaxe in his pool while you sweat in your small bedroom (without AC)...
